SUMMARY

CDL with air-brake endorsement, Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prepares delivery sheets for items of merchandise to be delivered by truck, grouping and routing deliveries according to destinations.

Copies information, for example name, address, weights, dates, and piece count from product records onto Sales Order or Delivery Sheet

Locates and selects merchandise and verifies against Delivery/Sale Order Sheet specifications

Also keep record of arrangement locations of merchandise in freezer, cooler and dry storage

Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.

Loads materials into vehicles.

Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.

Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet and inventory control methods.

Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, and other containers.

Stacks or assembles materials onto pallets and shrink wrap to insure stability

Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.

Operates pallet jacks (electric/ manual) and forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

Perform all task in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and Nueske Quality Assurance standards to ensure food safety and safe practices are being followed.

QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a CDL with air-brake endorsement along with a solid driving record be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
