Position Objective

PEAK is seeking a Transportation & Maintenance Specialist in Shawano, WI to assist in the transportation of livestock to and from PEAK facilities.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Transport livestock as needed while keeping transportation equipment well maintained, clean, and road ready at all times
  • Provide proper livestock care including proper handling, feeding and watering during transport
  • Provide maintenance repairs for facility structures and equipment as needed
  • Coordinate with various departments to assure proper transportation of livestock


  • Must have a valid CDL with safe driving record and keep records current to comply with DOT regulations
  • Comfortable working with large animals; prior experience is beneficial
  • Building and equipment repairing skills
  • Willingness to spend extended time on the road (7-10 days at a time)
  • Ability to follow instructions and proper procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment as well as possess effective communication skills
  • Willingness to grow and develop both personally and professionally
