The Site Lead works closely with the Branch Manager to oversee daily operations of an after-school site with the primary focus on program and service delivery, program participant safety and supervision and direction of program staff, facilities management, parent relations, and membership enrollment.

-Ensures implementation of activity plans at his/her site that meet the Minimum After School Program Standards & Service Requirements.
-Maintains accountability for program participants throughout the duration of the after school program. -Ensures follow- through in the event of program participant absenteeism and parent accountability in daily sign-out and pick-up procedures.
-Coordination of program planning and program implementation by after school staff members.
-Monitors after school staff member involvement in delivery of program activities, making certain that staff members are engaging program participants and providing adequate supervision.
-Understands and assures the implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and goals while maintaining a safe, clean environment necessary for youth development.                                                          -Utilizes Youth Development Strategy in student discipline (in keeping with the Shawano School Districts expectations for student behavior).
-Assist manager with process of onboarding of new staff, conducting phone interviews, sitting in on interviews whether in person or online, and mentoring/training of newly hired staff
-Handle other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary or important as assigned by the After School Program Manager or Branch Manager
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in working with children.
Knowledge of youth development strategies.
Ability to motivate youth and handle behavior problems.
Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
Ability to work with youth and families from a variety of backgrounds.
Knowledge of computers and computer programs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work after school program hours especially as seasons and service needs change.
