Leadership Shawano County
Leadership Shawano County is a nonprofit program of the Shawano Chamber Foundation and is housed within the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce. It is designed to cultivate informed, engaged, and inspired leaders throughout our community. Our goal is to develop a strong network of individuals who have a broad understanding of the ideas, challenges, and opportunities facing Shawano County and surrounding areas.
Through this experience, participants gain meaningful insight into local issues and the many resources available to address them. As awareness grows, so does confidence—empowering participants to step into leadership roles and actively contribute to strengthening our communities.
Program topics include:
Collaborative Leadership Styles
Natural Resources
Local and Tribal Government
Economic Development
Family & Diversity Issues
Education, Youth & Lifelong Learning
Health Care & Wellness
Personal Engagement
Participation in Leadership Shawano County is open to individuals who live or work in and around Shawano County. Each class brings together people from diverse backgrounds, professions, and experiences. Over the course of the program, participants grow not only as individuals, but as a connected and supportive team—making the journey both impactful and rewarding.
Please note: This program requires a commitment of one Thursday per month for nine months.
