Sturgeon Update 5/3/13: The sturgeon are not currently visible at the Shawano Dam. Biologists think the early spawning fish finished before the cold weather moved in and cooled the water, and the later spawning sturgeon had not begun. They think when the water warms up with forecast warmer weather in the coming days, the sturgeon will become active again at the Shawano Dam.
