General Business: Government, Retail, and Professional: $225.00 Basic per year plus $4.75 per full-time employee, $2.96 per part-time employee. Owners are counted in the employee count.

Financial Institutions: $10.50 Per million in assets, plus $4.75 per full-time employee, $2.96 per part-time employee (minimum $225.00, whichever is more).

Tourism: Motels, Hotels, Campgrounds, Cottages, Rafting, Casinos, Golf Courses, Bars, Banquet Facilities, and Restaurants. Basic investment is $225.00 per year. All lodging facilities will pay basic rate plus $2.00 per room over 20 rooms and $4.75 per full-time employee and $2.96 per part-time employee. Restaurants, bars, banquet facilities and casinos will pay basic investment, plus $.10 per seating capacity, plus $4.75 per full-time employee and $2.96 per part-time employee.

Basic membership shall be any person, firm, corporation, business, governmental agency, or educational institution having an interest in the objectives of the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce.

TAX DEDUCTABILITY:

Membership Investments in the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution but a portion may be deductible as a business expense. Dues paid to the Chamber are not a charitable tax deduction for federal income tax purposes. The Chamber is not a charity, but serves as an advocate for area business.
