Arts & Culture

Shawano Country's arts organizations, libraries, museums, theaters and other cultural venues provide residents and visitors a wealth of cultural and entertainment opportunities.

The visual arts are represented in a variety of forms including the Walls of Wittenberg Murals, the Spirit of Shawano Sculptures, and at various arts and crafts festivals throughout the area.

The performing arts are alive and well and can be viewed at several theatrical and musical productions throughout the year at the Mielke Arts Center, and at numerous other events.

Native American culture is on display at the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin and Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians Pow wows, the Arvid E. Miller Memorial Library Museum of the Mohican Nation, and the Menominee Logging Camp Museum.
